The Dimensional X-ray Computed Tomography (dXCT) conference is an annual conference presenting and disseminating the latest developments in XCT for dimensional measurement and its industrial impact across a variety of applications. The conference is also expected to define synergies and opportunities of collaborations between different organisations and commercial representatives.

In it's fourth year, it is being hosted by the Future Metrology Hub at the University of Huddersfield.

accomodation

 

The conference will take place in the Oastler Building, at the University of Huddersfield’s, Queensgate campus.

The event will begin and end in Huddersfield which has excellent rail links with Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield.

Transport will be provided during the conference to transport delegates between activities associated with the conference.

Overseas visitors

For overseas visitors, the most convenient point of arrival is Manchester International Airport (http://www.manchesterairport.co.uk ) which has a direct rail link to Huddersfield and is only 1 hour away by car, train or taxi.

Rail fare from Manchester Airport to Huddersfield is approximately £20 and taxi fare is approximately £70.

Delegates will need to organise their own accommodation as the Secretariat are unable to make room reservations on behalf of delegates.

Call for papers

 

Submitted research will be presented in oral and poster formats with prizes awarded for the best submissions.

A pre-conference day of training and tutorials focused on 3D dimensional metrology and dimensional metrology with XCT, will be provided and can be booked at an extra cost during registration. Please note that numbers for the training day may be limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
